Ali Asghar Nazem Boushehri founder and director of the “Nazem Boushehri & Partners” architectural company, received his master’s degree in architecture from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran (Melli University) in 1974 and continued his cooperation with the Mother and Neonatal protection Organization which started in 1970 while he was still a student, until 1980.
We can refer to design and construction of 9 maternity clinics in different cities like Iranshahr, Sarakhs and ect. . His membership in the design and construction team of the Shahid Akbarabadi Hospital, and Nezam Abad 1000 beds Maternity Hospital, as the most important achievements of these years.
Nazem Boushehri cooperated with the Khaneh Sazi Co. of Iran during two distinct periods of time ;( from 1980-1985 and 1997-1999); as a technical deputy and a managing director deputy. His last administrative responsibility was at ministry of Road and Urban development from 2000 to 2006. He served the head of the engineering department of executive organization for governmental infrastructures.
Nazem Boushehri has been constantly working on different architectural projects in his private office. Some of the projects that he had an important role in the design and construction of are: Kasra Hospital (Tehran), Erfan Hospital (Tehran), Milad Salamat international Hospital (Oroumieh), Extension of Behboud Hospital (Tabriz), Ansari Hospital (Narmak-Tehran), Sobhan Residential complex, Taban Residential complex, Mehregan Hospital (Qazvin), Pakdasht and Parsabad Hospitals and etc.
The Abdol-Azim Hassani Cancer specialized Hospital (Tehran), Ganjavian Hospital Extension (Dezful), architectural controller consultant in 670 Beds Barakat Hospital project and executive management of Tabriz International Hospital, are some of Nazem Boushehri’s latest works.
Functionality, simplicity and commitment to the architectural principle are some of the key characteristics of Nazem Boushehri’s designs. His adherence to these guiding principles has led to a more effective use of space that is based on today’s hospital realities and the therapeutic functionalities.
